One of the biggest oddities of 2013 is this independent film that was shot inside Disney World (and Disney Land) without anyone from Disney knowing about it. What was made from that footage is supposed to be one of the most bizarre and inflammatory films to ever try and get one over on the Mouse House. Hailed as one of the best movies of 2012, Flight is the emotional tale of Denzel Washington trying to win another Oscar in this remake of Leaving Las Vegas. That’s how I see it at least. Everyone likes Hoodwinked, right? It was clever, unexpected, and looked pretty good considering how astoundingly low its budget was. It was a real sleeper hit that ended up grossing over one hundred million dollars at the box office (factoring in international as well as domestic). So naturally, a sequel was planned… that came out five years later. Not only that, but it was a terrible piece of garbage according to critics. Well hell, I’m sure you guys like to see me in pain, so why don’t we give this one a shot?

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this show. It’s supposed to be a mash up of many kinds of horror elements into one series, and each season is its own self-contained story. With a 12 episode season to explain what is going on, I think it has real potential to go in depth with what is going bump in the night, which is a pretty unique angle in horror. Not often do we spend a lot of time with the person or entity terrorizing the heroes. Sure, we have characters like Hannibal Lecture, Norman Bates, and even Freddy Kruger to an extent, but going into how the monster was made is something that a television show can deliver that an hour and a half movie can’t. With that in mind, let’s get this started.
